Selected high school seniors from Fountain Valley High School, Los Amigos High School, and Valley Vista High School receive multiple opportunities to interact with professional business men and women. In addition, the event creates a positive educational experience for aspiring youth in pursuit of a chosen career choice, as well as motivation and inspiration for those students who may be undecided about their future in the work force.

The Student in Business Day event exposes these future professionals to our business community and enables community leaders to take part in helping students discover where they may best fit into the business world. Each student is paired with a mentor in the profession of their career choice where they have the opportunity to evaluate and explore further the different aspects of the profession they are considering. Education is essential to the economic health and welfare of the community, and the business sector’s support of students is vital in serving the best interests of our community. In order to offer this opportunity to students, naturally this event requires funding and participation from the business community.
